Vera IP65 weatherproof distribution boxes: 9 and 24+2 modules
Solera Vera boxes are surface-mounted thermoplastic enclosures for modular electrical distribution devices. IP65 and IK08 protection supports selection for indoor or outdoor installations exposed to dust or water, subject to each reference's installation conditions.
Capacity, dimensions and supplied equipment
The range offers 9-module and 24+2-module capacities. For example, V9 measures 245 x 250 x 139 mm externally and has smooth sides for machining cable entries; V24C measures 347 x 388 x 139 mm and includes a removable metal frame. Grey and black finishes with smoked doors are available. Cable entries and frame arrangements vary by model.
Choosing the distribution-board enclosure
- Add the devices' modular widths and allow space for wiring and future expansion.
- Check usable dimensions, connection access and the thermal dissipation declared for the reference.
- Select cable-entry arrangements and sealing components suited to the cables and installation location.
- Review supplied components and any locks, terminal blocks or blanking covers to be added.

Frequently asked questions
What does 24+2 module capacity mean?
It is the stated modular capacity of those models, distinct from the 9 module version. It does not mean 24 protective devices plus two supplied components. Check the drawing and space arrangement, then calculate device, wiring and spare capacity requirements.
How do V24C and V24NC differ?
Both have a metal frame and 24+2 module capacity; V24C is grey and V24NC is black. The frame is an assembly component, not an indication of included electrical protective devices. Check dimensions and supplied components for the chosen model.
Does V9B have cable entry knockouts?
The V9B product sheet specifies a plain cover and sides, with entries requiring machining. Do not choose it assuming prepared cable entries. Define cable passages and sealing components according to the instructions to maintain the assembly’s declared characteristics.
