Vera: weatherproof distribution boxes for surface mounting

Solera's Vera range provides thermoplastic enclosures for modular electrical distribution devices, with a design suited to visible installations. The boxes offer IP65 and IK08 protection and indoor or outdoor use according to the installation conditions specified for each reference.

Select the enclosure and assembly components

Vera weatherproof distribution boxes come in 9-module and 24+2-module capacities, with grey or black finishes and a smoked door. The range offers different cable-entry arrangements and 24+2-module versions with a metal frame. Check these differences before specifying the distribution board.

Vera accessories provide locking, connection and modular blanking functions. Select locks, terminal blocks and blanking covers according to the enclosure model and intended assembly; not every component is supplied as standard.

Checks for your project

Allow space for devices and wiring, reserve capacity for expansion and assess the completed assembly's thermal conditions. Follow the installation instructions and use suitable cable entries and closing components to maintain the declared protection. Consult the technical documentation to confirm dimensions, supplied equipment and performance.

Frequently asked questions

Do Vera boxes include electrical protective devices?

Module capacity does not establish this. Vera provides an enclosure for devices; module count describes space rather than included equipment. Check each reference’s product sheet and supplied parts. For an equipped board, specify the circuit layout and required components.

Does the box’s IP65 rating alone guarantee the finished board’s IP rating?

No. Assembly must follow the reference’s instructions, including machining, cable entries, seals and closure. Check added components and installation conditions. A modification does not automatically preserve the original enclosure’s declared characteristics for the complete assembly.

Are all Vera accessories compatible with every box in the range?

No. Select locks, terminals, covers and other components by enclosure reference and intended function. Check dimensions, fixing and supplied parts in the documents. Belonging to the range does not confirm compatibility or mean that the accessory is included.
