Ybox accessories: wall and wire mesh tray supports
Solera Ybox accessories provide two fixing solutions for this box range: an external wall fixing support and a wire mesh tray support. Select using the installation support and box reference, rather than assuming both accessories serve the same purpose.
SOP-715Y and SOP-716Y: different purposes
SOP-715Y is listed for external wall fixing. SOP-716Y is intended for fixing to a wire mesh tray. The Y815P box sheet lists both references in its accessories section, identifying these supports for that particular model.
Selection depends on where the box will be installed. For a wall, check the support and anchors suitable for the substrate. For a mesh tray, check accessory fit and installation instructions. Do not infer compatibility with any box or tray simply because the accessory belongs to Ybox.
Preparing support selection
Identify the box code and proposed fixing method first. Verify compatibility, supplied parts and installation before ordering. Keep access to the lid and room for cable entries; fixing must not obstruct connection maintenance.
These supports provide mechanical fixing, rather than cable entries or internal electrical connections. For those components, consult sealed box accessories and verify compatibility separately. Adding a support does not itself increase the box’s IP rating.
