Selecting the component
6510/6510N have curved bases and 6511/6511N straight bases. For festoon lighting, match the fixing to the specified rod or cable; 161QC offers quick connection, whereas 6618/6618N use screws. 831/831N rings and 855/855C candle sleeves serve different purposes: the sleeves are described for ref. 582, without establishing universal compatibility with 6829.
Selection must respect the voltage, current, power and thermal conditions of both the component and the luminaire. Disconnect the supply before installation or replacement and follow the manufacturer’s instructions; a matching lamp cap alone does not validate the complete assembly.
