Metalbox Stile: flush-mounted distribution boxes with graphite finish
Metalbox Stile is the Metalbox version with a graphite metal frame and door, intended to integrate electrical boards into residential and commercial interiors. The finish applies to the visible frame and door; the box and internal cover are thermoplastic. This allows the board’s appearance to suit the interior without confusing finish with electrical ratings.
Capacities and installation
The range offers 14, 28, 42 and 56 modules with a removable chassis for preparing devices and wiring. Select capacity by device space, planned expansion and conductor volume. Check flush dimensions, depth, door opening and thermal dissipation for the reference. Box interconnection options must be checked in the instructions, with sufficient mounting space allowed.
Choosing the finish and additional components
For a white frame and door, compare Metalbox flush-mounted distribution boxes. For plates and installation options, consult Metalbox accessories: check compatibility and colour by reference, particularly for visible parts. Do not assume that all accessories are supplied in graphite or included with the box.
Documentation and project preparation
Consult Solera technical documents for dimensions, components, installation and IP40 and IK07 ratings. Stile is intended for indoor use; IP40 provides no water protection and does not describe a dust-tight enclosure. For an equipped or adapted board, request a quotation for a special assembly, specifying capacity, finish and planned devices.
Frequently asked questions
Does the graphite finish increase protection?
No. It is the frame and door’s aesthetic finish. Check each reference’s ratings in its technical data sheet.
Is Metalbox Stile entirely metal?
No. It combines a metal frame and door with a thermoplastic box and cover.
Are electrical protective devices supplied installed?
The box name does not imply an equipped board. Check the contents and, where needed, specify an assembly with the required devices.
