Deribox flush boxes with metal claw lids

Solera Deribox boxes with metal claw closures house electrical joints in flush installations. The claw belongs to the lid closure and is distinct from the box installation method. Choose format, depth and access to suit the planned connections.

Formats and replacement lids

References include 514 at Ø 80 mm, 562 at 100 × 100 × 45 mm and 620 at 200 × 200 × 65 mm. Round and rectangular formats require different recesses; check usable space and drawings for each reference.

Replacement lids are identified by box: 14 for 514, 62G for 562 and 20G for 620. These relationships assist maintenance selection but do not establish general compatibility between similarly sized boxes.

Installation and maintenance

Before recessing, check entries, depth and the fixing method intended for the substrate. Keep the lid accessible and check seating and retention after installation. For another closure type, choose the corresponding box rather than assuming a conversion to screw or plastic claw lids.

Does the metal claw anchor the box to the wall?

Do not interpret it that way. The category and references describe metal claw lids. Install the box according to its sheet and instructions.

Can I replace the lid with another of the same size?

Size alone is insufficient. Check compatible reference and closure: 62G is identified for 562 and 20G for 620.

Does every Deribox frame and door fit?

This cannot be inferred from the range. Frames and doors have their own references and dimensions; verify compatibility before replacing the original closure.
