Mecabox accessories: construction protectors, covers and connection blocks
Solera Mecabox accessories protect specific components during construction, close compatible boxes and organise connections using insulated blocks. Select by purpose and box reference. Belonging to the same family or having similar dimensions does not guarantee that a cover, protector or block fits every enclosure.

PROT-6625 prevents plaster accumulation on the screw heads of box 6625. The 625TA is listed as a construction protector for a wiring device box. Covers 5625TA and 527TA explicitly specify boxes 5625 and 527 respectively. For other covers, check the intended box reference, dimensions and fixing method in the technical data sheet: the face dimensions alone do not establish compatibility.
Closing, temporary protection and connection have different functions
A construction protector is used during finishing work for the purpose stated in its data sheet. A cover closes a compatible box using claws or screws. Claw fixing describes the attachment of the cover, not the anchoring of the box to the wall. Choose replacement parts to match the original reference and closing system.
