Nylon ties and fix system

  • Nylon cable ties for bundling, with dedicated identification options.
  • Saddle mounts, tie plugs, expansion plugs and cable clips.
  • NUM2 markers for 1.5–2.5 mm² and NUM3 for 4–6 mm².

Solera cable ties and fixings for cable organisation

Solera cable ties and fixings group cables, anchor them to a substrate and identify routes. The family includes nylon ties, screw-fixed saddle mounts, tie plugs, expansion plugs, cable clips and markers. Each component has a different purpose: selection combines cable dimensions, tie width, substrate and mounting conditions.

Selection and mounting

First decide whether the task is bundling, anchoring or identification. Choose tie length and width for the bundle and check the mount’s accepted width. Distinguish plug drilling diameter, cable-clip size and the conductor section used to select a marker. Assembly strength depends on every component and the material receiving the fixing.

Frequently asked questions

Do a cable tie and a fixing serve the same purpose?

A tie groups or holds the bundle; a mount or plug anchors it to the substrate. NUM2 and NUM3 identify cables and do not replace a fixing.

Are all ties and fixings suitable outdoors?

Do not assume this. Check intended use and environmental resistance for each reference. Black colour or the term nylon alone does not establish UV or chemical resistance.

Can a fixing be selected by bundle size alone?

No. Accepted tie width, substrate, anchoring and expected stresses also matter. Nominal dimensions do not establish a load rating.
