Panel-mounted plugs and sockets: integrating a connection into an enclosure

Panel connectors are fixed to a panel or enclosure to provide an integrated connection point. This category combines angled industrial sockets, straight panel inlets and 16 A, 250 V~ Schuko sockets. Select both the electrical format and mounting geometry.

The Indubox frame relationship table specifies different frames for different references. Check cut-out, fixing holes, orientation and rear space against assembly documentation. A shared 16 A rating does not mean the same frame or contact system is used.

Frequently asked questions

How does an angled socket differ from a panel inlet?

The socket accepts a plug; a panel inlet has male contacts. The angle also changes connection direction and required space. Select the function and geometry specified for the equipment.

Does one Indubox frame fit every panel connector?

No. For example, 931121A is assigned MR1316 and 931131 MR1360. Check the table for the exact code and separately confirm which components are supplied.

Does the connector IP rating automatically apply to the completed panel?

The assembly rating also depends on the panel, seals, fixings, cable entries and installation. Check panel documentation and connection closure conditions.
