Selection and installation

Check connection method, permitted conductor type, stripping and tightening requirements for the reference. The term in-line does not remove the need for insulation, an enclosure or mechanical protection where required. Do not transfer current ratings from other terminal blocks to REV, or assume tool-free mounting.

Respect electrical limits and the instructions for the reference and receiving equipment. Disconnect the supply before making connections; nominal section alone does not validate the assembly.

Which sections are listed?

REV-2,5: 2 × 2.5 mm²; REV-4: 2 × 4 mm²; REV-6: 2 × 6 mm²; REV-10: 2 × 10 mm². Check permitted conductors and conditions in the sheet.

Can an in-line block be left exposed?

Not on the strength of its name. Installation must meet the electrical and mechanical protection requirements and product instructions; the name does not validate an unenclosed connection.

Can it replace a CLE connector?

Do not assume so. Compare capacity, electrical diagram, connection and mounting. REV and CLE are different ranges with their own declared characteristics.
