Checking each box’s product sheet
For example, BK-3P declares IP68 for 48 hours at a maximum depth of 4 metres. Its sheet lists three cable gland entries, an included terminal block and a conductor section of 4 mm². It also declares UV resistance and an ambient operating range of −5 to +60 °C. These are BK-3P specifications, not shared data to assume for BK-3PT or BK-6P.
Compare references using entry count and layout, permitted conductor section, terminal capacity and usable space. Check dimensions and drawings before reserving installation space: external size is different from connection space.
Entry installation and closure
Cable outside diameter and conductor section are different measurements. Confirm that each entry can seal around the cable used, and follow the installation and closure instructions. The specified protection requires these conditions; it does not imply unlimited immersion or suitability for every wet location.

Is a 4 mm² conductor section enough to select a cable entry?
No. Conductor section differs from cable outside diameter. Cable gland sealing depends on outside diameter and the gland’s accepted range. Check both measurements in the documentation.
