Indubox protection boards for photovoltaic strings

Indubox string control boards organise photovoltaic connections and protection through DC, AC and combined configurations, depending on the reference. A string is a series of electrically connected photovoltaic modules. The DC range includes one to six inputs with grouped or independent outputs; the input and output arrangement is an essential part of the circuit design.

Select by strings and inverter arrangement

Compare maximum DC voltage, expected current, input and output counts and the inverter’s circuit arrangement. Check the fuses, isolation and surge protection included in each reference. For configurations with AC circuits, also check supply type and output current. Equipment and string grouping differ between models.

Frequently asked questions

How does a two input, one output board differ from a two input, two output board?

Their circuit arrangements differ. They are not interchangeable just because both accept two strings: check the diagram to establish whether outputs are grouped or kept independent and how they connect to the inverter circuits.

Do all string boards include both DC and AC protection?

No. There are DC, AC and combined references, with different fuses, isolation and surge protection arrangements. Select by function and electrical parameters; the family name does not mean every component is included in each board.

Is string count enough to select a photovoltaic board?

No. You also need input and output counts, maximum DC voltage and expected current, required components and any applicable AC data. The configurator helps filter these options, but check the selection against the inverter and project diagram.
