Solera DIN rail terminals: TCD sections and variants

Solera DIN rail connection devices organise panel connections using TCD series terminals. The published range covers 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, 10, 16 and 35 mm². A and N variants are listed in those sizes; T variants appear in 4, 10, 16 and 35 mm². Not every section has the same options.

Selection and installation

Select electrical function first, then conductor section and variant. Check compatible rail, dimensions, permitted conductor and tightening method. Identify neutral and protective functions from the product characteristics and diagram; a coloured terminal is not automatically a protective terminal. Check voltage and current for each reference, especially T variants.

Respect electrical limits and the instructions for the reference and receiving equipment. Disconnect the supply before making connections; nominal section alone does not validate the assembly.

Is a T version available in every size?

The category lists TCD04T, TCD10T, TCD16T and TCD35T. Do not assume a T variant exists for every section.

Can a terminal be replaced by another of the same size?

Size alone is insufficient. Electrical function, conductor type and section, mounting, ratings and the panel circuit requirements must all match.
