8000 Series socket strips without cable: linear and compact formats
Cable-free 8000 Series strips have shuttered 2P+E outlets rated at 16 A, 250 V AC. They allow an incoming connection to be prepared for indoor workstations and points near furniture. The category contains ten linear variants and three compact ones. Without cable does not mean wireless operation or a supplied extension lead.

Compact references are 8104 with four outlets and no switch, 8106 with six outlets and no switch, and 8105IL with five outlets and an illuminated switch. The manual distinguishes their opening and mounting from linear units. Matching outlet counts do not establish identical dimensions or fixing details.
The 8104, 8106 and 8105IL descriptions specify mini-trunking entries for 7×12, 10×16, 10×20 and 12×12 mm. Check the exact entry, cable retention and mounting. Installation and maintenance require authorised personnel. Disconnect power before intervention and maintain earth continuity.
These references specify IP20 and a 3,680 W maximum for the complete strip. IL switches do not establish surge or overload protection. The KIT-DIN35 data sheet explicitly excludes 8104, 8106 and 8105IL, despite contradictory compatibility fields on some individual base data sheets.
