Solera SOL54 surface-mounted mechanisms provide lighting controls and power sockets for residential and commercial installations exposed to moisture or splashing, subject to the selected product’s IP rating and mounting conditions. This category includes IP54 controls and IP44 sockets or combined units; the SOL54 name does not establish an IP54 rating for every product.

Choose the required function first: two-way switching, pushbutton, double control, two-pole switching, socket or combined unit. Then check the required IP rating, orientation, dimensions and connection system. References 3303 and 3360 measure 65 x 80 x 55 mm; double socket 3366 measures 127 x 80 x 55 mm. Versions 3363V and 3366V are identified as vertical: choose the intended arrangement rather than assuming any assembly can be rotated. Interpret the protection rating together with mounting and closure instructions; do not assume resistance to water jets, immersion or the inclusion of undocumented accessories. Frequently asked questions
Are all SOL54 mechanisms rated IP54?
No. Two-way switch 3303 is IP54, while socket 3360 and combined unit 3363 are IP44. The rating of an individual switch must not be transferred to an assembly containing a socket.
How do 3363 and 3366 differ?
3363 combines a 16A 250V~ 2P+E socket with a 10AX 250V~ two-way switch. 3366 is a double 16A 250V~ 2P+E socket. Their vertical versions are 3363V and 3366V.
Which conduit and conductor sizes does 3303 accept?
Its data sheet specifies conduit entries up to Ø20 mm, screw connection and rigid or flexible conductors up to 2.5 mm². Check these details and instructions for each reference; they do not mean conduit or accessories are supplied.
