ION Series: socket strips with cable, without cable and with additional functions
Solera ION socket strips provide multiple connection points for indoor homes, offices and shops. The published references have 2P+E sockets rated at 16 A, 250 V AC. Choose the supply format first: a unit without cable requires connection, an extension lead includes cable, and special models add functions specified for each reference.

Applications and selection criteria
All 27 published models specify shutters, IP20 and a maximum of 3,680 W for the complete strip. Add the simultaneous equipment loads and respect the limits of the supply socket and circuit. More outlets do not increase the permitted total load. IP20 does not establish water resistance for outdoor or wet locations.
Compare outlet count, plug clearance, cable reach and installation position. Product descriptions include screw or cable-tie fixing holes; do not assume screws or ties are supplied. Cable-free models have mini-trunking entries, but are not flush-mounted wiring accessories.
PIL versions have an illuminated switch. Among special models, 51ILS and 61ILS have Type 3 transient surge limiters; 41ILSO and 61ILSO add overload protection. 51ILAC has USB-A and USB-C. These functions are reference-specific and cannot be inferred from the switch.

Should I choose an ION unit without cable or an extension lead?
Choose a cable-free unit where an authorised person will make the incoming connection following the instructions. Choose an extension lead where its 1.5 m reach and equipment suit the application. Check the exact reference and plug compatibility.
Do all ION products have USB and surge protection?
No. An illuminated switch does not establish either function. USB-A and USB-C are specified for 51ILAC; the listed ILS and ILSO models have transient surge limitation.
Is 3,680 W available at every outlet?
The 3,680 W maximum applies to the complete socket strip, not independently to each outlet at the same time. Also follow the current rating, markings and supply limits.
